Regarde Les Hommes Tomber – французский post-black-metal коллектив, сочетающий в своем концептуальном творчестве элементы doom и sludge. Дебютный полноформатный одноименный альбом они выпустили в марте 2013, и в сентябре этого года выйдет вторая работа группы. У вас крайне интересное название группы. Откуда оно пришло? В старших арканах Таро при толковании аркана «Башня» есть строки «В ослепительной вспышке истины падают с башни мужчина и женщина». Вы это имели в виду? Почему именно это концепт?
Regarde Les Hommes Tomber это название, которое в себе содержит следующую идею: нисхождение и бедствия грешников, отрицающих бога. Таким образом, мы имеем дело с библейской мифологией (Авель, Лилит, город Содом, и так далее), но без какой-либо религиозной подоплеки. Эта захватывающая концепция, а также очень актуальная.
Оформление и кавер-арт вашего дебютного альбома превосходен. Кто его автор?
Fortifem (дуэт иллюстраторов и дизайнеров из Парижа — fortifem.fr — прим.ред.) сделали. Группа была очень довольна их работой, что сразу стало очевидно, что мы позовем их для оформления второго альбома. Их творения отличает интенсивность – именно то, что мы хотим показать в нашей музыке.
В сентябре выходит ваш новый альбом – будет ли он продолжать идеи дебютного релиза (альбом будет называться Exile и выйдет 19 сентября – прим. ред.)? Или это будет принципиально новая работа?
Мы поддерживаем концепцию нисхождения, но в другой форме: отвергнутые богом люди сосланы в изгнание. Этот диск будет описывать их скитания, и соблазн, что они могут обратиться к Дьяволу в этом контексте.
Будет ли издание на виниле?
Конечно, будет CD, винил и кассета. Наш лейбл также выпустит лимитированный бокс-сет для фанов (тиражом 200 единиц), куда будут входить сам LP, нашивка, А2 плакат, принт 32x32cm, футболка, и так далее.

На самом деле, это лейбл выбрал нас! Они увидели наш концерт в 2012 году и сделали предложение.

Regarde Les Hommes Tomber — French post-black-metal band, which combined elements of doom and sludge in their conceptual work. Regarde Les Hommes Tomber is a name that sum up the following idea : The fall and the distress of the sinful men, denied by god. In that way, we deal with biblical mythology (Abel, Lilith, the city of Sodom, etc…), but without any religious message. This concept is a fascinating one, and also very actual.
Design and cover art of your debut album is excellent. Who designed it?
Fortifem (Paris) did. The band was very satisfied by their work, that was obvious to call them for the second album. Their creations highlight perfectly the intensity we want to show in our music.
Your new album comes out in September (upcoming full length entitled Exile which will be available September 19th.) — whether it will continue the idea of the debut release? Or will it be a fundamentally new work?
We maintain the concept of the fall, but in an other way : rejected by god, men are banished an shall go into Exile. This disc describes their wandering, and the temptation that they can have for the Devil in that context.
Whether the edition on vinyl? tape?
Of course, this recording will be available on CD, vinyl and tape. Our label will also release a Collector LP Box Set (200 units), including the LP, a backpatch, an A2 poster, a 32x32cm silkscreen, a Tshirt, etc…
Why did you choose the label Les Acteurs de l’Ombre Productions?
Actually the label chose the band ! They saw a gig in 2012 and made a proposal.

Each member of Regarde Les Hommes Tomber loves the work of The Great Old Ones, they play great music (inspired by H.P Lovecraft). The work of Moonreich, Déluge and Maïeutiste is also remarkable.
What do you think of nowadays post-black-metal in France?
This genre gathers various listeners, who don’t always have the same musical tastes. There is a great variety in the audience, some people come from Post-Hardcore, others from Pure Black Metal… We appreciate it.
