Бельгийская формация Deuil называет себя «викторианской фотографией пост-мортем от музыки». Что ж, ядреная смесь из sludge и post black metal музыки с элементами doom действительно впечатляет и морально угнетает, как вышеупомянутые фотографии. Дебютный релиз Deuil вышел в 2013 и состоял из двух треков, но хронометраж их довольно большой, что дает нам возможность расценивать его как полноценный EP.

Deuil трагичны, мрачны чуть более чем. Они созданы из переплетений нерв, криков, свинцового неба перед грозой, перьев ворона Эдгара По и слез его возлюбленной Ленор. Этакий викторианский black metal – достаточно сдержанный, но, с другой стороны, декадентский, сюрреалистичный, будто под опиумными парами созданный. Поэтому слушать его, конечно, сложно все-таки, но оно того стоит. 7/10

Belgian formation Deuil calls theselves «The equivalent of Victorian post mortem photography in sound». Well, vigorous mixture of sludge and post black metal music with elements of doom is really impressive and morally depressing as the above photos.  Deuil’s debut album released in 2013 and it consisted of two tracks, but its timing is quite large, which allows us to consider it as EP.

Deuil are tragic, gloomy above and beyond. Creation from interlacings of nerves, screams, the sky before a thunder-storm, feathers of a raven of Edgar Poe and tears of his beloved Lenore. Some kind of «Victorian black metal» — quite discreet but on the other hand, decadent, surreal, as if under opium. Because to listen to this music, of course, difficult , but it’s worth it. 7/10
